Starting the Year with a BLOG

I think this year is the first year I actually, sort-of made a resolution for the new year.
I had one of the worst months with my semester last fall and I kinda realized I wanted to change again, and normally I would just change my hair when I felt like that and so I did. I cut myself bangs and started a new phase of myself, and I couldn't be any happier with that decision. I want 2019 to feel like how it felt to make a bold decision I was nervous about but in the end really loved. So I made a 'resolution' to myself that 2019 is going to be more of me focusing on what makes me happy and getting to know myself as an individual again and I couldn't be more excited. I'm going to share more, do art more, and treat myself more. Last year I broadened my horizons, by expanding my music taste, friend group, and my style and interests. My love of beauty + skincare grew as I started trying new products and seeing results and reactions. I got to know myself better towards the end of 2018 and I want to know more and that's what I'm dedicating this year for. I really liked the idea of starting a blog as I've tried before, but it felt like a good time to try again with a different approach (and my boyfriend suggesting I do so). I like to look back and reflect on who I was and I have a journal and photo albums but I wanted something I could keep up with that's easily organized and accessible no matter where I am.
